Welcome to our CaringBridge, we are using this to keep family and friends updated on Becky's condition. Please leave any thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement for Becky, Shane, Katie, Hannah, Jenna and family.

As you all know Becky has been sick for almost a year. She thought things were heading in the right direction and then about 3 weeks ago she got sepsis, a blood infection from the nutrition line she had in her arm. She was placed in ICU at NEGA on a ventilator. She has since progressed off the ventilator and has been moved to Emory. The transfer to Emory was to have a physician that could look
At her eyes and possibly give her injections, if needed. Fortunately they have tested her eyes multiple times and feel the injections are not necessary. Becky has been placed on a bipap to help with her breathing. She also has pneumonia in both lungs, so she is being treated for that. They are also trying to get off the extra fluid she has in her kidneys and around other organs, so they have been doing dialysis.  It seems the blood infection is gone but she has acquired another infection from the number of antibiotics she has been on.  Becky is such a positive strong person and she will fight this and God will bring her through! Please specifically pray for:
1. Breathing rate to stay as close to normal as possible
2. Decrease fluid
3. Peace and calmness to surround Becky and family
4. No more infections
Thank you!
