Welcome to Becky's CaringBridge site, which has been created to keep family and friends informed about her condition while undergoing treatment for Myelodysplasia. The site will be updated often so that we can all follow alongside Becky and Art and offer support and words of encouragement. Please be aware that due to low blood counts, Becky is expected to experience increasing and ongoing fatigue and may not always have the energy to respond personally to every phone call or message. Be assured that Becky and Art will receive all messages and are extremely grateful for your concern, love and support.
It is important to note that Becky's immune system is extremely compromised making her highly susceptible to infection, therefore her doctor has ordered that she avoid contact with anyone experiencing cough, cold, fever, or flu. Also, due to low blood counts, Becky is not permitted to receive fresh flowers. Cards and/or emails are certainly welcomed!
