      Greetings!  If you are here, it probably means you have been a part of Becki's life in some way.  My name is Carol and I am Becki's sister, and I will be helping out Matt and Becki by posting updates when they are available. Matt and Becki may be popping in to post when they can as well, and they will be reading any messages that are left. 
       Becki received her breast cancer diagnosis just  a few short weeks ago.  Although we have some information to move forward with, more scans this week will determine the treatment plan.  Although breast cancer is not rare, Becki is facing a rare situation in that cancer has occurred in both breasts at the same time, but the two cancers are different types.  The two types of cancer require two different types of treatment.  Later this week more testing will determine if the cancer has spread beyond the breast and invaded more than the one lymph node that was biopsied; or any other parts of her body.  (Specific prayer request would be that the cancer has not metastasized) 
      In my opinion, my sister is one of the most giving people I know.  She would drop everything to do something for anyone, without letting on that she already has a full plate.  If you know her, you know that she is fiercely loyal and passionate about the things that matter.  Please do not hesitate to send a card, text, message, etc.  Even if you don't know what to say, just knowing that you care and that you are thinking about her means the world.   Thank you for being a part of her support team.
