Becca was diagnosed with breast cancer on May 29th, 2019. She was 29 weeks pregnant and 22 years old at the time of the diagnosis. The cancer she has is hormone positive and it is fast growing because of her pregnancy. Her lymph nodes are also affected so the doctors want to treat this cancer quickly and aggressively. They are unable to scan her body in the traditional way to find out if the cancer has spread to other organs. They are going to start giving her chemo treatments to try to keep the cancer from spreading. They are hoping she can get 4 chemo treatments before her second daughter is born. They will give her a break at that time to recover from child birth and bond with her baby and then they will aggressively resume treatment. Becca lives with her supportive fiancé, Austin, and their fun loving active 2 year old daughter, Estelle (Stella).
