Welcome to Barts CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.    Bart was diagnosed with stage 2A stomach cancer on Nov 7th.  After a lengthy process of several scans, test and biopsies the treatment started Dec 5th.  The plan is for him to endure 3 rounds of chemo (each is a 3 week cycle).  He will have some sort of recovery period which will be followed by a partial removal of his stomach.  The surgery will require a lengthy recovery period which will be folllowed by another form of chemo treatment and possible radiation.  Please keep Bart, our family and his medical team in your thoughts and prayers during his journey 🙏🙏🙏
