Barb Trainor

After a summer filled with celebration, family gatherings and beautiful Lake Minnetonka sunsets, Barb found herself extremely tired. In Late September she went in to have a nagging cough checked out. She found out that she had fluid around her lungs leading to a CT scan of her chest. This CT scan noted the pleural effusion but also found a mass just below her diaphragm. Over the last 5 weeks, Barb has meet with multiple medical personnel and undergone many tests. The end result is she was diagnosed with Serous Peritoneal Carcinamatosis. The big C. She had an excellent connection with the oncologist at Mayo and has chosen to proceed with treatment there. She is currently preparing for battle.
