Two years ago, Thanksgiving Barb was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.  She underwent chemo  until August 2016 at which time it moved to her hip. She did radiation for this and then to immune therapy until Feb 2017 when the chemical in this therapy attacked her kidneys,  Massive doses of prednisone  restored some kidney function but in my non professional opinion  caused  a speeded dementia .  The cancer is active again showing up as elevated levels of calcium.  Barb was in the hospital 3 weeks with this.

At this time further treatment ins no longer an option,  She is on in home hospice.  We are both living at Trinity Terrace in Farmington.  We have assistance from hospice and much help from family.   This is a day to day situation.  Some days better than others.  She sleeps a lot  but is in no pain.

Please leave a message if you would like.  A visit is always nice but please call ahead (9286492557)
