Barb had open heart bypass surgery on January, 21 2017 after suffering a heart attack. Barb continues to be in hospital, in and out of ICU.
It was felt that a caringbridge site would be helpful to keep friends and family updated on her story.
Barb continues to be in ICU at this time. Her kidneys had a tough time functioning and she receives dialysis once a day and seems to be tolerating it well. Barb is well cared for, she has a feeding tube (which she does not like), and she continues IV treatment.
It has been an up and down road so far, but she again seems stable.
