Our mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 1999. She bravely battled the cancer and has been cancer free for the past 11 years. She has been experiencing significant back pain for the past 3 months, but being the tough lady she is, she tried to will it away. It finally became unbearable last week and after going to various doctors, they determined that the cancer was back in her bones. After a long and grueling weekend of intense pain, we have met with her oncologist and are now undergoing a battery of tests to determine exactly what we are dealing with and to set our plan of attack. Our mother is an amazing, loving and strong woman, if anyone can beat this, she can! She is a private woman and would probably tell us that all this attention is unnecessary. Throughout her life, our mom has taken care of so many people. She is the most unselfish, giving person we have ever known. Now it is her turn to be taken of, it is our turn to show her exactly the example she has set for us. What we ask more than anything is for your prayers. Pray, pray and pray some more.....there is never enough! God Loves Her!
