My name is Jennifer and I am the oldest child and only daughter of Barbara (Barb) (Larson) Cline.  I am creating this Caring Bridge site at the request of my mom so as to keep all of those who love her informed about her journey.  It is with a heavy heart that I take on the task of creating this place for us to post about mom's journey and to connect her friends and family to her and to each other.  As some of you know, mom was diagnosed with Myelodysplatic Syndrom in March of 2016.  From diagnosis to present she has been on a roller coaster that only Cancer can put you on.  But through every day and every experience she has held strong and faithful and fought with courage and grace unparalleled.   

Mom's battle with Leukemia for the first 21 months was marked by the chemo being successful and the treatment kept the MLS at bay.  But in January of this year, the treatment became less effective and the residual effects of Chemotherapy and the disease began to complicate things.  The last three or so months have been increasingly more difficult with nearly daily transfusions of blood and platelets.  Currently she is also battling Pneumonia

That brings me to present.  Yesterday mom met with an incredible member of her medical team and learned that the MLS has now turned to AML, Acute Myelodysplatic Leukemia.  The treatments and blood maintenance has stopped working and there is little more they can do.  She has been placed on hospice and will be at her home surrounded by the things and the people she loves and who love her.  We do not know how much more time we have but her medical team have indicated they do not feel its long. 

We would ask that you continue to pray for my mom as she travels whatever journey is ahead.  Please pray that God grants her continued strength, and comfort and peace.  Please pray for my dad David as he has been dealt a hand he never asked for with the presence of cancer and the illness of his beloved wife and best friend of nearly 52 years.  Pray for Jon Katie Jason Lindsey Jim and myself for strength to be exactly what mom and dad both need at this incredibly difficult time.  Pray for JD Jenna Jillian Jackson Marisa Tyler Cole and Kasie, the lights of my moms world, her grandchildren, the world as they know it is changing quickly.
