Barb Boarts

After winning the battle with breast cancer in 2010, Barb was faced with a new challenge against blood cancer.  In November 2013, she was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), which quickly progressed into Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  She bravely decided to go forth with a stem cell transplant in April 2014, but on November 13, 2014, after 6 1/2 months of ups and downs, Barb gained her angel wings.  The world will never be the same without her bright smile in it...
