Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. The picture above was taken on Sunday, April 2nd in Florence, Italy. I spent three weeks hiking and traveling in Italy and France during April, feeling perfectly normal except for a cough and a shortness of breath. When I got home I went to my primary care physician, who ordered an X-ray. This was followed by a CAT scan and then a PET scan. I got a biopsy and was diagnosed with metastatic pulmonary adenalcarcinoma on Friday, April 28th. I have faith in my doctors, my family and my friends to get through this difficult time. I love you all.
