I was diagnosed with Multiple 
Myeloma, a blood cancer, last March and have been under treatment since then. I am now at  the Presbyterian/Saint Luke's Hospital in Denver for about 19 days engaging in 2 days of strong chemo and tomorrow  9/13 complete the stem cell transplant. The process is similar to a blood transfusion.  Then it takes about a month to get my immune system back up and running. I'll be in a hotel for a week in Denver following hospital discharge, then at Kelley and Bret's (my son) home in Parker as I need to be within 20 miles of the hospital for a couple more weeks. Then home.
