Barbara Gillispie Barbara needs a Miracle

Barbara (Barbi) and John Gillispie have been on a roller coaster for over four years!  Barbi began to have physical problems several years ago, which lead to losing her job in March 2013.  And that was just the beginning, as it took many tests, many Doctors, and four years to finally figure out what was wrong with her.  She was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in June 2016, by Dr. Ann Corsi, in Missoula MT.

Barbi, went to Spokane WA, Sacred Heart Medical Center (Providence), in November 2016, to participate in the “Stem Cell Transfer Program.”  She returned to her home in Hamilton MT to recuperate.  After months of recovery, she had about three good months, then she started to decline once again.  The Myeloma has returned and the diagnosis is short termed.  She is enduring chemo two-days a week in hopes for a miracle.

John has been beside her every step of the way.  He took a job with reduced hours and pay to be able to care for Barbi, as much as possible.  Unfortunately, with this and the medical bills, that meant the loss of their home, vehicles, savings, and retirement funds.

The goal for this fundraiser is to make the remainder of her life as problem free and happy as possible.  To achieve this, we want to support as many of the necessities of life that we possibly can for Barbi and John.
