Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. On Sunday, February 18th Barbara slipped on ice and suffered a fractured pelvis. While recuperating, she suffered a stroke and was taken to Albany Medical Center on Wednesday, February 21st. Her family is hopeful that she will soon be able to move to an acute rehabilitation facility to begin her recovery. We know that Barbara's strength, determination and patience will serve her in the hard days ahead. Barbara is resting and healing in between physical therapy, speech therapy and occupation therapy sessions. The doctors are advising no visits for the time being, except for immediate family members. Barbara and her family are so grateful for your prayers and love! We will continue to update her progress.
