April 2019

Well, I'm back.  The cancer is not vanquished, as it appeared, after my surgery and chemo one year ago.  A  week ago, results of a needle biopsy found that I have  metastatic carcinoma of colon origin . . . in my lungs.  I'm doing well and this was diagnosed during my routine oncology checkups.  My lungs are working a-ok.

Chemo is an option, surgery and radiation are not.   There is no curative treatment.

'To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure.'

2017-2018

I was diagnosed with colon cancer on Friday, October 13, 2017.  Chemo and surgery are all done. As of May 2018, my oncologist and surgeon agree that there is no trace of cancer in my body.

Thank you for your support and encouragement. I appreciate you!

My photo was taken by Courtney in front of the Capitol right after President Obama's first Inauguration. It was absolutely one of the happiest days of my life. Barack Obama - a  good man and super hero.
