Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. The Holmes Family appreciates all the calls, e-mail and texts. They just can't get back to everyone. It is time that they communicate to everyone via CaringBridge. A couple of weeks ago Bailey shared with her family that she was feeling tired and fatigued. Bailey came home for the Easter holiday and started to feel worse with flu-like symptoms. Her condition was so poor that her mom and dad rushed her to emergency at USC Verdugo hills on Sunday night. It was determined that she had an infection but where it came from and what is was unknown. Doctors took many samples for tests and we are still waiting for results of those cultures. Unfortunately, Bailey's condition worsened. Her organs went into Septic Shock. Pneumonia had taken over her lungs and she had great difficulty breathing. It was determined that she needed elevated care. She was moved to USC KECK Hospital last night. Her condition is life threatening. She has help with breathing. She can not have pain Meds because it slows her breathing. Tracy has not left her side. Tom, Veronica anod Tommy are close by. We appreciate your prayers and your prayer chains. We need God to do for Bailey what she can not for herself.
