A bit about our family: Stephanie was an Art Teacher for the Lee's Summit R-7 school district for 9 years and currently teaches virtually with Edgenuity. Zachary works in IT for the R7. We married and blended our families in 2016 with Stephanie's kids; Genevieve, Seraphine, and Gideon; Zachary's daughter, Camille; and we added a daughter, Florence, in December of 2016. Currently that makes five kids - all whom live with us full-time.

In fall 2018 we found out we were unexpectedly expecting baby number 6. Through the marvels of modern technology, we found out this surprise baby has some very serious health concerns. This blog is her story and our journey.
