In May we were told that baby Michael's brain ventricles were borderline too big, his heart looked like the right ventricle outflow tract was small or missing, and he only had one kidney.
5 trips to Omaha later, his brain ventricles have continued to increase in size every time we get a new ultra sound, his heart diagnosis is tetrology of fallot and will require open heart surgery eventually, and the kidney is working because there is amniotic fluid.
Our doctor's best guess prognosis is that baby Michael will live 3-36 hours, if he is born alive.
We did do genetic testing. We had both an amino and microarray test. They both came back normal. Basically that means we will never know why these anomalies have happened.
