On May 4th, 2016, our baby Jane had surgery at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to repair myelomeningocele, a form of spina bifida, located at the L4-L5 area of her spine. The craziest part about it is that they repaired her back while she was still in the womb! Caleb and I and our two kids Harvey and Eleanor get to spend the summer living at "Ronald McDonald's House" in Philadelphia while we continue to heal and let Jane grow until she is ready to be born.
