Zed Anthony Emerick was born at 29 1/2 weeks on Sept 6th at 11am due to complications of moms diabetes. He weighed 3lbs 8oz and is 16 1/2 inches long with a full head of beautiful brown/reddish hair. After a quick emergency c-section zed was brought to children's in Mpls, where is will stay for a couple weeks to a month. Hopefully then moved back to Waconia Nicu and stay until November or sooner. Since birth he has been hooked up to a ventilator due to his lungs being underdeveloped. But is breathing on his own a little more and more each day. He is a fighter and has shown that since his birth, the nurses call him a little spit fire and are so impressed with him!
