Avery L. Young was born in Saint Cloud on August 12th 2018 at only 26 weeks gestation ! They tried to keep him in his mommy as long as they could but that particular Sunday they couldn’t stop her contractions. Avery was born weighing only 1 lb 15 oz! Shortly after Avery was born he had an infection in his body and was transferred to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis . He had to be opened up and his doctors found that a large portion of his small intestines were dead and Avery had to have surgery to remove it. He has had many ups and downs and has so much healing left to do , Avery is such a little fighter our own little super hero! He has another surgery scheduled and needs lots of prayers !
