Welcome friends and family!! Scott and I have set this site up so all that have faithfully prayed and supported us on this journey raising and caring for our sweet Avery could be updated throughout her Spinal Fusion surgery. She's scheduled for 8:15am on Monday, April 11, 2016. This by far will be her greatest medical challenge. It's a tough, lengthy surgery..... In a nutshell, they will open her back, grab her severely curved spine, attach rods, and finally artificially graft a new spine. She giggles every time we tell her she's "getting a brand new back"! We will try to update as frequently as we can. Scott and I are always so very, very thankful for all the amazing support we've received on the beautiful, humbling, and God driven journey we've been on over the past 11 years. Avery's perseverance and resilience continues to leave us in awe on a daily basis. May God bless each of you!
