Ava Henry Ava June Henry

Ava was born at 24 1/2 weeks old - 4 months early!  She weighed 1 pound 10 ounces, was 12 1/4 inches long, and breathed her first breath on her own - much to the medical staff's surprise!  She is our little miracle (& our little "June Bug") and is our pride & joy!  She continues to be feisty and fights each day to remain healthy and grow!  Throughout her long (105 days) stay at Strong, she underwent a PDA heart litigation surgery, two laser surgeries for her eyes and contracted both meningitis and a blood infection.  Through it all, Ava has been surrounded by loving family & friends and has been covered in prayer!  She is indeed a miracle baby and a living, breathing testament to God's miraculous goodness and to the power of prayer!
