On October 13th 2021 Austin was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia also known as CML. What I thought was just a stomachache and Austin being more tired than normal turned into the words no parent ever has to hear. My 16 year old son will have to take chemotherapy every day to keep his cancer under control.
