Aubree Burton

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting!

Aubree was born December 5th, 2013.  She has been a precious addition to her family along with her big brother Adron, their mother, Kayla, has had her hands full of joy! Aubree has been a mommy's girl her whole life. Aubree adores her big brother, even though she is younger, she often tells him what to do!

In the summer of 2018, Aubree started showing signs of changes in mood and other subtle signs and symptoms.  When her mother tried to fight to get answers, the doctors simply wanted to watch and wait as she had good moments and bad moments.

Until one morning when it clear Aubree had lost her vision.  Immediately, her mother transported her to the Emergency Department where a scan revealed the devastating news of the tumor.  A prolonged and frightening surgery to follow that day.  Her vision has not fully recovered, but her energy, smile and laughter have been strong all through the radiation and treatments.

Unfortunately, little Miss Aubree has been diagnosed with glioblastoma.  This type of brain tumor is very aggressive and has a history of returning.  After several weeks of radiation, Aubree needed a second operation on her brain to remove fluid, a cyst as well as what seems to have been more glioblastoma.

Please give this wonderful family in your thoughts and prayers.  Also, please consider helping her family as her mother has had to significantly reduce her time at work to transport and care for her daughter and all of her health care needs.

Please show your love and support with a message of encouragement and click on "Ways to Help" as that will help Aubree directly.  (The link to help bellow helps the site, which is great, but it does not go to Aubree directly, please look ahead for the link with the hand and heart symbol!)

Thank you all so very much!!!
