As of November 3rd: Ashley fainted at work on Wednesday, October 31st and was rushed to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. At the hospital she went into cardiac arrest and was administered over 45 minutes of CPR. She had several surgeries to repair damages sustained from the CPR and has been on life support the entire time.
They found Ashley has blood clots in her lungs and heart which is what caused her to lose consciousness that morning. She is in critical condition. Ashley is connected to an ECMO machine which pumps and oxygenates her blood, allowing the heart and lungs to rest. She is in a drug induced coma and on a life support machine helping her to breathe.
Ashley is at the Meijer Heart Center at Spectrum Health. Please continue to send thoughts and prayers for her healing.
