On Monday, August 22, Ash was kicked by a seven month old race filly, Spot. Shady drove her to the Mineral Wells hospital where they diagnosed her with a lacerated liver and care flighted her to Texas Health Harris hospital downtown Fort Worth.

She was in ICU until Friday, Aug 26, when she was transferred to a regular room.
