On January 16 @ around 4:30pm Ashley complained to Max that she has a really bad headache.  She went home and took some ibuprofen.  They left her house with Max driving back to work to get some extra hours.  As they pulled up to the shop, Ashley again said her headache was getting worse.  At the moment, she slumped over and slurred her words... She said, take me to the hospital.  Hey brother Nick and Max rushed to to Montevideo hospital when they determined after a head CT scan that Ashley had a hemorrhagic stroke.  As I tried to talk to Ashley, she just kept repeating some word that I couldn't understand.  No matter what questions were asked, she couldn't answer them.... They called in life flight to rush her to the cities (Minneapolis) while Dad, brother Nick, Max and I drive the long two hours.  When we got to North Memorial and they brought me back to see her, I was not expecting to see what I saw.. Ashley was now on a ventilator and was put in a medical induced coma.  Something no mother wants to see ever.  They repeated the CAT scan with no change to the brain bleed.  The Dr explained to me that she has a large bleed.  At this moment we have no explanation on why this has happened.  We don't know how long she will be like this... The Dr said she could be this way for days, weeks, months, or she may never wake up.   She may need surgery to relieve some pressure from her brain.  Her right side has been affected by stroke.  This has been the hardest and most stressful I've been.  Please pray.  I will update as often as possible.
