After feeling something just wasn't right with her body Ashley consulted her physician, who ran several lab tests, ultrasounds and biopsy's. On Friday, January 15th we heard the words, "Ashley, you have breast cancer". Needless to say, these are not words anyone wants to hear.
The first part of this week we will meet with the surgeon to set up surgery and then meet with oncologist for a plan of care following surgery.
As you all know, Ashley is amazingly strong and full of life, joy and happiness. We are believing with her for the best possible outcome. Please keep Ashley and our family in your prayers as we begin this difficult journey.
