Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
On Wednesday January 18th Aria Doe was admitted to South Nassau Community Hospital after complaint of fatigue, lack of appetite and mobility issues. After many days of trying to make a proper diagnosis her condition began to worsen, to the point where she needed to be intubated and remained unconscious for sometime. It was found out that she was suffering from a build up of scar tissue in her small intestine and would need to undergo a risky operation to remove the blockage with an 80% mortality rate. She underwent surgery and beat the odds! Now she is focusing on recovery. Day by day she is getting stronger.
Aria is a Mother, a Wife, a Daughter, a Sister, a Friend to many, a community leader and activist and shrewd business woman with a fiery passion, strength and determination that rivals most. Everyday with the love and support of those whose lives she's touched she is fighting to build herself back up and come back to us stronger than ever.
