Ardell was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the fall of 2015. Through medication and treatment he has been able to manage the effects of the cancer. However the cancer has now spread, and they have now discovered he also has renal cancer which is progressing rapidly. Doctors have said his remaining time on this earth is limited.
He is currently rehabilitating at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo, ND. He welcomes visitors from 10:30am-6pm in Room 177.
