Thank you for visiting my site; we are humbled by the outpouring of love and support!

On November 13th, 2015 I was diagnosed with a rare cancer and was told it had progressed to a level which required immediate attention.  Bob and I traveled to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Dec 17/18 for further testing and for another biopsy in a second area that showed up on the PET scan.  On Dec 22 I got a call from the Doctor in Seattle and he explained the same rare cancer is also located in my sacrum.  This discovery makes my Cancer a Stage IV diagnosis.

Bob and I flew to Seattle January 10, 2016 and I will be living near the treatment center for the next 6 weeks receiving radiation and chemo.  My first day of treatment is Monday, January 11.

On February 23, 2016 I finished my treatment and returned home to family and friends. It was a long tough battle, but with all of the help, thoughts, and prayers of friends and loved ones I didn't go through this alone. For that I am forever grateful. You go through life and never really appreciate how much you are loved; this cancer has helped me understand that and is definitely a positive side effect.

I will periodically update the site as I go to follow up appointments.

I can't explain how much the cards, messages, thoughts and prayers meant to me during my treatment.
Thank you all
April
