As many of you know April was originally diagnosed with grade 3 brain cancer late summer 2014. Over the summer this year (2019) she started having more severe headaches again in mid-August that forced her to go onto leave from work. In September after a follow up MRI we found out that it apparently progressed to grade 4 and has been causing edema in her brain as well. Unfortunately her symptoms were progressing so fast that she had to go to the hospital September 25th. Through all of this time everything has been changing so quickly that we haven't been able to get a good handle on what care she needs and have just been taking things one day at a time. We're hoping she will be more stable in the near future and can start making a real plan going forward.
