This is Jennifer McGaha, April’s long-time friend. As many of you already know, last fall, April made the tough decision to stop chemotherapy for her cancer, and a few days ago, she began hospice care. Thanks to her care team, April's pain is well under control, though she still struggles with digestive issues. April and Toby are so grateful for all the messages of love and support they have received and would like to use this site as a way to keep friends and family informed about what is happening in April's journey. Please know that though April may not always be able to respond to every message you leave her, she is reading and listening to your kind words, and she is comforted by your outpourings of love and good cheer. I will update here periodically as things change and/or as April and Toby would like.
