Family & Friends! Welcome to the Journey.

Mid-February, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Triple-Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Let's pause to celebrate the magical phrase "Stage 1" while we side-eye "Triple-Negative." Who invited that creep to the party; he's gross.

The path to NED (no evidence of disease) is achievable, albeit a longer road than expected. I'm thankful for the tremendous amount of love, support, and privilege I've been shown in my process. I'm confident I'll come out the other side a better mother, sister, daughter, and friend (no, that doesn't mean I'll be better at responding to texts.)

I'll post essential milestones, dates, and achievements in the journal. I ask that you all bring your best dad jokes, snips of frozen Teams meeting faces, and photoshop/meme/gif requests. And baby pics - all of the baby pics, please.

My treatment plan is outlined below.
Twenty weeks of AC-T chemo spread over 16 rounds
Bilateral mastectomy and sentinel lymphadenectomy w/ full reconstruction (this girl is finally getting out of the training bra section)
More chemo (?)
