Hi everyone, wanted to give an update on health. This isn't confidential so you can share the info. 

Backstory: in March, most of you know I was having eye issues caused by an inflamed third cranial nerve. That issue has mostly subsided, but as part of the treatment plan, I am having regular MRI's.

Monday afternoon, I had one of these MRI's, and as soon as I got home from the appointment, my phone started buzzing: it was the neurologist telling me to get to ER as quickly as possible, I had an aneurysm show up in the imaging.

I went to Providence, had scans Monday, and they transported me to St Vincent's and kept me overnight.

Yesterday, I went in for exploratory 'surgery' where they sent a camera up to my brain to check out the aneurysm through my femeral artery (science and medicine are wicked awesome). The results show a definite anuersym. This type /size / location means I am going to need my skull opened for a major surgery to repair. 

Thankfully it has not ruptured yet, but it sounds like it is only a matter of time without surgery.

Tasia and I are meeting with the surgeon this morning, and will have more details then.
