Welcome to my Caring Bridge site. I've created it to keep friends and family updated. I appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.  I am so very thankful for all of the love and support so far and I look forward to reading more words of encouragement.  This is my new story for 2020.   I have been diagnosed months ago with arthritis in my right hip.  However the pain and inflammation have steadily become worse over time.  The shelter in place during the pandemic had kept me from really getting in person doctor visits until recently.  Once I finally got in then an MRI was scheduled and they found a mass in my hip.  So then yesterday I had a cat scan and a bone density scan.  Those revealed that I have pretty advanced cancer in my bones, liver and lungs.  I am having a biopsy on Friday to determine what type of cancer it is and what the treatment will be.  Either way this will be an interesting journey.
