In the last week of February 2013, Mom was diagnosed with PML, a viral infection brought on by one of the drugs used to treat her CLL (cancer). She stayed at home, in a love bubble, and until she passed away peacefully in the evening, on April 29, 2013.
Her ashes were buried in Oliver Mosca's grave, at Fernwood's green cemetery in Mill Valley, California. Oliver Mosca was her beloved grandson who preceded her in death, at the age of three, in 2011.
