Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. 


As you might know, Ann was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer in September. The news has been quite a shock, especially considering the vibrant, active Ann that we all know. But cancer is like that: sneaky. This has been a little overwhelming for Ann and her family to process. But Ann is leading the charge in typical form, dealing with all of this very directly. 


There has been some good news in all of this mess. As serious as this cancer is, Ann's particular tumor markers should be very responsive to a particular type of chemo therapy that she has already begun to receive. It is likely that there will be minimal side effects associated with this treatment.


So many of you have asked what you can do to help. The answer is continue to support Ann and enjoy her company in all the ways you normally do. If she doesn't feel up to an outing or to talking about things on a particular day, she will let you know. In the meantime, we will post information here so you and Ann can focus on the things you have always enjoyed together.
