Hello and welcome to my CaringBridge website. I am so appreciative of your support and words of hope and encouragement. The good news is that the debilitating mobility impairment that has dogged me since last year has a structural cause and can be repaired! My right hip is toast. I'm now scheduled for hip replacement surgery at Kaiser in Riverside Hospital on August 1, 2018, with orthopedic surgeon Michael Yu, MD. I'm so excited that there is a solution and that I will soon be on my way to increased mobility.
Fortunately, John is retired and will be waiting on me hand and foot! We are so grateful for all the help we’ve received with our recent move and for all your support and prayers. We'll use this site to keep you updated on how I'm doing during this important time.
