Hello friends & family, welcome to the Caring Bridge website for Ann Radich.

As time allows, we will post updates on Ann's cancer battle. You can share well-wishes for Ann by posting here also.

Ann is battling a pernicious and statistically rare form of bile duct cancer, cholangiocarcinoma. The tumor was detected at Stage 4, and determined to be aggressive and fast-moving. Following consultations with oncology experts at OHSU Knight Cancer Institute and St. Vincent's/Compass, Ann immediately began chemotherapy treatments. Tests performed after two rounds of chemo indicate that the tumor has grown larger, and that the cancer has spread beyond the liver, gall bladder, and bile ducts. Due to the ineffectiveness of the treatments, and also due to the debilitating and toxic side-effects, Ann decided to discontinue chemotherapy.

Ann is now transitioning to a home-centered hospice environment in the residence she shares with Ann-marie in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Ann-marie and Beth are providing round-the-clock care for Ann during this difficult time.

Although her health and condition do not permit her to receive visitors in person, we invite and encourage you to please share your thoughts via this forum.

Always resolute and unwavering in her faith, Ann remains defiant in the face of this dreadful disease. Our family humbly requests your prayers and spiritual support.

Thank you ~

Ann-marie, Beth, Paul, & Angelo
