The last 2 months have been a whirlwind of emotions and doctors appointments for my sister Annie. On October 7th she had a mammogram and the screen lit up with worrisome results. She was quickly diagnosed with stage 2-3 Breast Cancer and the planning began for a double mastectomy to hopefully remove all cancer in her body. At this time the doctors believe it is isolated to her breasts. Her surgery was scheduled for November 23rd but she caught a chest cold and it was rescheduled for Wednesday December 8th.
I will use this page to keep everyone updated this week on her condition.
