Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Anne was diagnosed with Metestatic Chondrosarcoma just after thanks giving 2018. She was being treated for a cough that they said was likely allergies. When she became increasingly short of breath just before thanksgining, she went to the hospital and they found hundreds of nodules in her lungs. They said it didn't look like cancer but they needed to do a biopsy. They then determined it was in fact cancer, but they were not able to determine what kind.

We took a trip to the U of M where we were told it was chondrosarcoma. This is very rare and there is no cure. She has a mass in her left hip, and this is where the cancer started years ago. It had moved to her lungs and this is why she was having trouble breathing. In other words, she has cancerous cartilage cells growing in her lungs and left hip.

This was not in her plans, she was 65 and planning to work until she was 66 so she could collect her full retirement. She had things she wanted to do and dealing with terminal cancer was not one of them.

Just before Christmas, Anne suffered a stroke. She went to the hospital and has since fully recovered!!

Anne is an amazing woman who has spent her life helping others. If you had a need, she was there to help in any way that she could. She has many many friends and family that love her so very much. She does not deserve this but knows that god has a plan, though she is not happy with his plan!

I, niece Twyla, sister Deidre, and cousin Martha will make damn sure she has the absolute best care possible.

Please use this page to write to Anne. I will be sure she sees your entries. I will update as needed.

Thank you for all the love and support!
