Hi everyone. Many of you have known Ann for decades as a powerhouse in the theatrical and movie world, someone you worked with, or to whom you turned for friendship, camaraderie or direction or advice: a beloved, charming, elegant and generous soul. A few months ago, she was still driving around town, living blissfully on her own, and finishing up a play that will be produced in New Zealand. In the last three months, though, she has lost her balance in many ways -- physically and cognitively -- and now needs 24/7 skilled homecare. Sometimes her mind is clear, but she is often in her own world. She is pretty confused about time, and who goes with which era of her life. She is still VERY much Ann. She is usually quietly content at home, but not really up for many visitors. She is no longer really taking phone calls. We all LOVE her caregivers, by the way. We'll keep you updated here, and you can leave messages for us to read to her. She will love that. If you can contribute to her home care costs, we have a fund set up here:
