This past June 2017, our mother, Anna Marie was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She has begun an aggressive round of chemotherapy but our family has been told that this cancer is not curable and she will need chemotherapy for the rest of her life to manage it. It was devastating news. She is staying strong but it has been extremely difficult. Chemotherapy has been challenging and she has not had a lot of success living on her own. The side effects have really taken a toll on her body. She has not been able to return to work. She has not been able to care for her grandchildren (and for those who know her, she lives and breathes for her 8 grandchildren). She now is living with her daughter, Michele, in Springfield, PA. We started this page as a source of support and love for our mom, but also as a resource for her caregivers, her children. This is an overwhelming task, caring for our only living parent. And so many people already have reached out to us and offered their help and support. We are so grateful. We would like to use this site to provide updates here for anyone who is interested.  Also this can help us provide information on how to contact her because her spirits are often lifted with phone calls and visits.  Miracles happen every day. Please pray for her and our family.
