Anna Marie Decker born January 4, 2007, our little miracle baby. Born at 26 weeks weighing 1 pound 6 ounces, 13.75 inches long. Anna was a complete surprise to us, I only new I was pregnant for 8 days before she was born.
December 2006 was a very busy month for us. My sister and I held a surprise 50th Birthday party for our mom, then we went to Las Vegas for 4 days on December 16, then my birthday on the 19th. Not to mention the weather, the windstorm. We make it through the Christmas rush, only for me to be in severe pain the next few days. Finally on December 27, I go to the doctor thinking I have a kidney stone. The clinic does a UA on me with a pregnancy test to make to see make sure that I am not pregnant because they are going to have to do a CT scan or xray to check for the stone, well it comes back positive. They send me to the hospital thinking that it was a eptopic pregnancy or something to that effect. They end up doing a ultrasound on my kidneys and bladder to look for a stone, but then they found the baby, not just newly pregnant, but they are guessing 20 weeks or more.
