Our 19-month old daughter was discovered to have a heart murmur this past Memorial Day (2016). Upon further examination with a Pediatric Cardiologist, she was diagnosed with a heart defect of the AV septum & leaky valves (which allowed her mom's Dad/Physician to hear the murmur).
She underwent open-heart surgery on July 1, 2016 to correct the aforementioned heart condition. Within hours, the procedure was completed successfully and her heart began to beat again on it's own -- praise God! We are now at home healing and recovering as a family and our daughter continues to defy the odds -- for just as God's Word says & by HIS grace, She is an Overcomer!
