Ann Abercrombie

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. As many of you know, our precious Ann has been battling adenocarcinoma in her lung for the last several months with chemotherapy.  She tolerated the chemotherapy well and many wouldn’t even know she was in such a great battle.   Unfortunately  the cancer has returned with a vengeance.  She has been hospitalized at M D Anderson since June 2, 2022.  She is not in any pain, but is very confused as to where she is.  Some of you may have received texts and phone calls that make no sense.  We ask that you not respond because that just further confuses her.  She will be moving to the palliative care floor at M D Anderson today, June 10.  She is allowed one visitor a day per hospital rules.  Ricca and I have been trading days since she entered the hospital.  We are asking for your prayers.  She can receive flowers (which we all know she loves) delivered to the hospital.  We are monitoring her mail at home, so cards can be sent to Ann at 1400 McKinney Ste: 3310, Houston, TX 77010.  And of course, we will share everything that is left on this site with Ann.  Nancy Younger Kruka
