A Note from Anita's Daughter, Michelle

For those of you who know me, it will come as no surprise that I am somewhat rebelling against my mom's wishes and created this site even though she had said no.  She thought it was for people who are dying - I explained that quite the contrary it's for people who are loved by many and who have family and friends who want to be kept up to date about someone's progress through illness to recovery.  It also provides a way for you (her many friends and family members) to send words of encouragement to her during this tough time.  My commitment is to read her all of your comments throughout her journey.  I figured every time she goes to a chemo appointment, I can sit and read her all of your comments in hopes that it lightens her spirit.

So, as we embark on this painful journey, I ask each of you to log in every now and again and say a little something to inspire my mom or even let her know you are thinking of her and I PROMISE to read each of your comments to her.

As of right now (10:40 am on 6/30), she does not know about this.  I wonder how long I can keep it a secret?! Can we make it to her first chemo appointment so I can surprise her with your kind words?  Let's see!
